Call for Abstracts now closing 10am Tuesday 6 June

Cutting Edge 2017 Addiction is Everybody's Business will be held in Wellington at Te Papa Museum 6 - 9 September.

The Cutting Edge addictions conference is New Zealand’s key addiction treatment gathering providing an excellent opportunity for the addiction sector to get together, to network, and to learn about and embrace innovative thinking and practice.

You are warmly invited to submit abstracts

This year’s theme is Addiction is Everybody’s Business - we all have a role to play; whether we are an addiction practitioner, a manager, a peer support worker or are working in primary care. This theme focuses on how we create an integrated system of care that is responsive to people’s circumstances, environment and their life stage. It seeks to increase the interface between key players across the sector including addictions services, primary care, and specialist services like OST and services to offienders so that the person/family is at the centre – rather than the service.

We invite you to submit an abstract for the selection process. Some areas we are interested in include innovation, person centred system responses, working with offenders, best practice in OST, community and primary care responses and working with offending populations.
